Randall Thomas "Randy" Thornton

Graveside services for Mr. Randy Thornton will be held Monday , August 8th at 2pm at Bethel Southern Methodist Church cemetery. Rev. Bob Followell and Rev. Chris Gully will be officiating the service.

Randle Thomas “Randy” Thornton was born to James and Peggy Thornton on April 19, 1972. He was a journeyman lineman at East Mississippi Electric Power Company for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Randy loved the outdoors hunting or fishing. He was a member of the Collinsville Bass Club. Randy loved spending time with his family and his beloved fur babies Drake, Bella and Sophie.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Amber Thornton; children Malerie Thornton and Cooper Thornton; father James Thornton; brother Timmy Thornton (Amy) and several nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Thornton; Maternal grandparents J.D. and Carrie Payne and Paternal grandparents Charlie and Ola Mae Thornton.
