Jack Bobo

Jack Allan Bobo (August 9, 1966- August 4, 2022) of De Kalb, MS was a 1984 graduate of Lamar School and a 1987 graduate of EMJC, where he was a member of the Regional 23 Lions baseball championship team. His love for baseball led him to coach his son’s little league baseball team and later coach at Kemper Academy. Kemper Academy was a special place to Jack Bobo. He served as President of the P.T.A. and served on the school board. Mr. Bobo was a general sales manager at CoCa-Cola bottling company in Meridian, Ms.

Visitation will be held at Lynville Methodist Church on Sunday, August 7 from 4-6 p.m. A private service for family only at a later date.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Cindy Bobo, a son Dylan Bobo (Olivia), two daughters, Leah Robinson (Connor), Jena Bobo (Jackson), a grandson Korbin Bobo, a brother Mike Bobo, his step-father, Larry Crump, his uncle Ted Salters (Susan), an aunt Jean Bruner (James), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobo was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver E. Bobo and Carolyn Sue Crump.
